Red Hot Magma - Hawaii day2

After an evening hike along a lava field (Mars, again), we were treated to a fireworks show like no other: molten rock from Pu'u 'O'o (oh-oh is right!) spilling down a cliff into the ocean below creating more Hawaii.

Black Sand at Sundown - Hawaii Day1

As soon as we checked into our B&B, we headed out to Punalu'u Black Sand Beach to catch the sunset...we weren't the only ones.

She was at least 70.

Villa-ge Idiot

Spent the day at the Getty Villa in Malibu with Amy. We strolled, laughed, looked at works of art pillaged from parts of the world that do have culture and generally had a great time. 

As we made our way out through the herb garden, I thought it would make Amy laugh if I tweaked the nipple on a sculpture while making a "wah-ugh, wah-ugh, wah-ugh" noise. Amy did laugh but mostly at the horrified senior citizens who stood on the other side of the fountain from me.
